My Reading/Blogging Slump & How I’m Dealing With It.

readingslump

So, I have literally read a total of 3 books since the beginning of the year. I know it may not seem like a slump to some, but three book in a month is pretty terrible for me personally. I usually read closer to 10 books a month and honestly, I’ve been feeling a little down lately.

I don’t know what it is, but I haven’t really been able to pick up a physical book and I haven’t blogged at all. I’m not sure what it is, but I’m hoping I can snap out of it quickly. I feel like I’ve been busy and preoccupied with so many things that I haven’t been able to get into the groove of things and focus on this blog.

I will say that I finally have picked up a physical book though and it’s a young adult fantasy which is strange cause that wouldn’t typically be my first pick if I’m being honest. I’m glad it seems to be working though! I hope to slowly work my way out of this slump if it’s the last thing I do and thank you all so much for bearing with me.

I hope to have more regular posts coming soon!

Thank you again for all of your support! πŸ™‚ ❀

  1. I hope your slump goes away soon, being in one is always terrible. I’ve been feeling slumpy myself lately and I’m also not sure how to deal with it so I wish you the best of luck.

  2. I was totally in your shoes this time last year! Try not to stress about it, the more you force it the harder it’ll be to get back to ‘normal’. Personally, I spent a lot of time away from books and now that I’m out of the slump I’m feeling better than ever about reading. Good luck!
