I picked this on up on a whim when I was having a hard time choosing an audiobook to listen to while getting reading in the morning. I’d heard a bit about it and I was in the mood for something lighter. Turns out I made the right choice for my reading mood!

• super cute
• a great take on a “Cinderella” story
• there are so many Cinderella retellings and Geekerella made it relatable and current
• the two main characters were likeable
• kind of hate-to-love, but they also communicate with one another without realizing that they’re communicating with one another
• contains the typical Cinderella plot points: evil step-mother and step-sisters, fairy godmother, magic pumpkin carriage, masquerade/ball, curfews & glass slippers
• unique retelling of a classic story!
