#BookTag: Ruler Of The Books

This tag was created by Ariel Bissett and I was tagged by the wonderful Jesse from Books At Dawn! Check ’em out! They’re amazing, I promise!

What book would you make everyone read?

We Are The Ants … duh.

What would you abolish in book construction?

Half Lost by Sally Green. This was one of my favourite trilogies…until the final book.

What author would you commission to write you any book?

Shaun David Hutchinson. Hands down. I will honestly read anything he writes, so I would be absolutely thrilled if he ever wrote a book for me.

What book would you demote to the library basement to make room for new books?

There are quite a few books out there that I liked, but they don’t necessarily need to take up room on my shelves. These include: Little Heaven by Nick Cutter, The Sky Is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson, The Light Fantastic by Sarah Combs, The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey + a few others.

What cover artist would you commission to make a mural?

Will Staehle a.k.a. the cover artist that created the masterpieces that are the Shades of Magic by V.E. Schwab book covers. He also designed Warren The 13th!

What characters face would you put on a coin?

Probably Alex Delarge from A Clockwork Orange. This sounds terrible considering the crimes that this character commits, but there’s just something so mesmerizing about him, and the book, that needs to be immortalized.

What book would you award the “RULER OF BOOKS” 2016 prize to?

We Are The Ants…duh.

I would like to tag

Nikki @ The Night Is Dark And Full Of Books
Chloe @ The Bookish Dragon
Anna @ My Bookish Dream
Books Are All You Need
Alex @ Whimsy Pages

and, of course, anyone else who would like to participate!

Thank you for reading!

    1. I’m really sorry I didn’t like it either, I just had such high hopes that were unfortunately not met 😦

  1. I haven’t read anything by Shaun David Hutchinson yet, but all of his books sound interesting. Which one would you recommend I start with? I was thinking of reading We Are The Ants first. The covers for the Shades of Magic series are simply beautiful! Thank you for tagging me! 🙂

    1. I absolutely love We Are The Ants and I will always recommend reading it, but it is better than The Five Stages Of Andrew Brawley in my opinion so maybe read that one first so that We Are The Ants is extra amazing! I’m currently reading At The Edge Of The Universe, but so far so good!
