Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine in which we share a book that we are eagerly anticipating!
This week I am eagerly anticipating:
History Is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera
When Griffin’s first love and ex-boyfriend, Theo, dies in a drowning accident, his universe implodes. Even though Theo had moved to California for college and started seeing Jackson, Griffin never doubted Theo would come back to him when the time was right. But now, the future he’s been imagining for himself has gone far off course.
To make things worse, the only person who truly understands his heartache is Jackson. But no matter how much they open up to each other, Griffin’s downward spiral continues. He’s losing himself in his obsessive compulsions and destructive choices, and the secrets he’s been keeping are tearing him apart.
If Griffin is ever to rebuild his future, he must first confront his history, every last heartbreaking piece in the puzzle of his life.
Release Date: January 17th

I’ve seen so much excitement for this book! The preorder incentive for the trip is really cool. I haven’t read any of this author’s books, but I hope to read his debut sometime soon. I hope you enjoy this book when you get a chance to read it!
Have a fabulous week, Maria. =)

I heard about that pre-order incentive! It’s a pretty awesome idea and I haven’t really seen any other pre-order swag quite like that! You must read More Happy Than Not! It’s the main reason that I’m so excited for this new book of his! So amazing!

I hope you love this one! I really enjoyed it. I mean, it broke my heart, but in a good way. (I think.). It’s spectacularly emotional and introspective. I can’t wait to get my hands on a finished copy on release day. 🙂
