It’s time for another Top 10 Tuesday!!! For those of you who don’t know, Top 10 Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the folks over at The Broke and the Bookish! This week’s post may be a little hint for my friends and family as to what I would love to see under the Christmas tree this year. So without further ado, here are some of the books that I would most like to receive!
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Illustrated) by J.K. Rowling
I bought myself the illustrated version of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone when it was first released and I’ve been itching to get my hands on The Chamber of Secrets as soon as it released as well! I’ve been holding off until Christmas…and I may already know that my sister may have got me this. We always tell each other a few things that we get for one another, so don’t worry…I didn’t sneak a peak!
Scythe by Neal Schusterman
Yes, I have already read it…but it was an ARC and I’d really love to get my hands on a finished copy!
The Smaller Evil by Stephanie Kuehn
I read Charm and Strange by Stephanie Kuehn way back at the beginning of this year and I really enjoyed it. She had a new release this year called The Smaller Evil and I’m still not too sure why I haven’t picked it up for myself yet. Well, it has become the Christmas season all of a sudden and now it would make the perfect gift!
The Familiar Volume 3 by Mark Z. Danielewski
Yes, I own volumes 1 & 2. No, I haven’t read them yet. Yes, I still want volume 3. I absolutely loved House Of Leaves and I can’t wait to dive into this HUGE series. Apparently there’s going to be 27 of them so…I should probably start soon…
A.D.: After Death, Vol.1 by Scott Snyder & Jeff Lemire
I’ve been eyeing this comic for a while now. I’m not sure why, but the premise is just so intriguing to me. I’d love to read this one soon!
Slade House by David Mitchell
I bought myself The Bone Clocks recently and once again…I still haven’t read it, but I really do want Sladehouse already. Weirdly enough, I want the paperback version over the hardcover. One, because I have The Bone Clocks in paperback, but also because the cover is just so much more appealing to me!
Crystal Storm by Morgan Rhodes
Again…I’ve only read the first book in this series so far, but I already want this fifth book. I have the first four…so I might as well complete the collection…right?
What Light by Jay Asher
13 Reasons Why is still one of my favourite books that I read in my teenage years. When I heard that Jay Asher had a new release this year, I knew I needed to have it. So it’s still a mystery to me as to why I have yet to pick it up…
A World Without You by Beth Revis
I’ve heard so many good things about A World Without You by Beth Revis and I’ve been meaning to pick it up for a while now…but I just never have. Also, the cover is gorgeous!
Moon Knight Volume 1 by Jeff Lemire
I’m a pretty big fan of Jeff Lemire and this story looks pretty promising. It would also be my first Marvel read. I know…*shame* *shame* *shame*.
And there you have it! A little secret look into what I would love to see under the tree this year! Of course, I am not using this list to promote anyone to buy me gifts (not even you family members & friends that secretly read my blog). This is just a list and I in no way expect any of these things. I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas/Holidays this weekend! Have fun & stay safe!
Thank you for reading!
I really want to read Scythe but it’s the illustrated HP books that are tempting me most at the moment. I just want to hold them lol.

I highly recommend Scythe! It was a fantastic read! But I agree, the illustrated HP books are just so beautiful! How could we not want them as a part of our collection?!
