It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! I was recently tagged by Lois @ MY Midnight Musing to participate in the Jingle Bell Booktag! What an appropriate time of year for this one right?! Without further ado, let’s begin!
“All I Want For Christmas Is You…” | What book do you want to see under the Christmas Tree?
Easy. Harry Potter & The Chamber Of Secrets (Illustrated Edition) by J.K. Rowling. However, because my sister and I always tell each other what we’re getting (with a few smaller surprises) I may know that this is already under my Christmas tree!
“Simply Having A Wonderful Christmas Time…” | What book that you have read this year have you enjoyed the most?
That’s a very difficult question, but I’m going to have to go with A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara. It was so dark and extremely depressing but it was so good and so well written. This is definitely a book that will stay with me forever.
“It’s Beginning to look a lot like Christmas…” | Which book has the most festive look to it?
I mean…this has got to be one of the most festive looking books I own for sure. Although, there’s probably PLENTY more festive looking books out there.
Elf | What book unleashes your inner child?
Definitely the Harry Potter series. I mean these books absolutely shaped my childhood and my current love for reading. It always feels like I’m being transported back in time when I read these or even watch the movies.
The Grinch | Your favourite villain…
Scythe Goddard. Hands down. I only recently read Scythe by Neal Shusterman, but Scythe Goddard will definitely remain one of the most memorable villains in my mind. While he was vile, he was also kind of interesting and intriguing in his own way.
The Holiday | Name your favourite TWO couples…
Rhysand & Feyre…duh. This is probably one of the biggest ships out there in the bookish universe right now. Also, Gideon & Kyle. I mean, they are just so damn adorable. This whole book was cute and lighthearted and I just absolutely loved it.
What book would you like to give as a present to your followers?
A List of Cages by Robin Roe. This book will be released in January and I can promise you that you’re going to definitely want to pick this one up!
There you have it! The Jingle Bell Book Tag is complete! I would love to tag:
& of course, anyone else who wishes to participate!
Thank you for reading!
I love an interestingly vile villain. It makes them fascinating but also easy to hate haha.
