Guys! Guess what! I got my first ever Owlcrate! I’m sure many of you have already heard of Owlcrate between the countless amounts of booktubers and bloggers who mention it, but here is what Owlcrate is all about in just in case!
“OwlCrate is a monthly book subscription box that sends newly published Young Adult novels and assorted bookish goodies to your door. Each month’s OwlCrate is tailored to a fun theme (past themes include MAGIC, MYTHS & LEGENDS, and DIVERSITY) and will contain one new Young Adult novel, as well as 3-5 other bookish treats to help you get your nerd on.”
I have always wanted to receive my own Owlcrate and I recently decided to finally subscribe! Boy oh boy, did I ever pick a great first month to hop on the Owlcrate train. I took a few photos as I was opening the box and discovering each item! This month’s theme was Writer’s Block. Take a look at what was inside!

First of all, how cute is the Owlcrate packaging? I got really excited when I found this in my mailbox!
The first item I found was a pack of three pins from the one and only Bookworm Boutique! How cute are these pins though?!
The next item I found was this cute little faux feather pen! I noticed a few people received white pens and others received black. I hope and prayed for a black one and that’s exactly what I got!
Next up were these lovely banned books socks from Out of Print Clothing! I am absolutely in love with them and the quality is fantastic!
The next item I found was this lovely little book with 642 writing prompts! I just may have to start adventuring into the world of writing!
Then I found the loveliest of letters from the author of the novel that was included within this month’s Owlcrate (you’ll here more about that soon!) and a little card with a quote from the same novel.
Last, but certainly not least, I found The Serpent King by Jeff Zentner! I have wanted to read this for a while now, especially after I continued to hear amazing things about it! Funny thing is…I wanted to read it so badly, that I already purchased a copy on the release date…and I have already read it. This is where the giveaway comes in!

Not at all! Haha! I always get super upset when I see US Only so I decided to make my fellow Canadians happy with this giveaway! Also, shipping can get pretty expensive internationally haha!

Well, this Canadian is definitely happen 😛 International shipping is brutal. Canada post may have its moments, but at least it’s generally not too expensive.
