It’s time for another Top 10 Tuesday!!! For those of you who don’t know, Top 10 Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the folks over at The Broke and the Bookish! This week’s Top 10 Tuesday theme revolves around the Top 10 Book To Movie Adaptations I Still Need To Watch! Which movie adaptations do you still need to watch?! What is your favourite book to movie adaptation? Which is your least favourite? I hope you enjoy this list as much as I enjoyed writing it and I look forward to hearing about your top 10 book to movie adaptations that you still need to watch!
The Wolf of Wall Street
Can you believe I’ve had this book and film sitting on my shelf for over a year now and I have still yet to read or watch either of them? Mostly, I think the main reason I have waited so long to watch the film is that I just haven’t been able to find a good three hours I can set aside to be able to watch the incredible long film. I will one day though! I promise!
Mockingjay Part 1

Dark Places

Me & Earl & The Dying Girl
Inherent Vice
This movie just looks straight up weird. If you know me even a little, you know that “straight up weird” is my middle name. I love anything unconventional and strange and Inherent Vice looks like it’s the perfect match for me! I also would love to read the novel, but I think this is one of those cases where I really don’t mind which I do first.
Still Alice
I read this novel quite a while ago and the film is up on Netflix so I really have no excuse as to why I haven’t watched it yet. It’s once again probably a mixture of lack of time and, I won’t lie, a little bit of laziness. I will get to it some time soon I hope!
Jamie Marks Is Dead (One for Sorrow)
Honestly, I had no idea that this film was based on a novel to begin with. I had randomly heard about the film because one of my favourite actors, Cameron Monaghan (Shameless, Gotham) stars in it which inevitably put it on my radar. I really do want to read the novel now that I know it exists, but once again, I don’t think I really mind whether or not I watch the film or read the novel first.
Dermaphoria
I recently found the trailer for this film while browsing through good old YouTube as I noticed that yet another one of my favourite actors, Joseph Morgan (The Originals) starred in it. After watching the trailer I found out about the novel and it has been on my “To-Read” list on Goodreads for quite some time now. It seems really dark and strange, which once again, is perfect for me!
The Shining
The Boy In The Striped Pajamas
* BONUS *

Zodiac
Brokeback Mountain
I find it extremely strange that I haven’t watched this film yet. I mean…why have I waited so long? It’s a classic and I think it was ahead of its time in dealing with LGBTQ topics in film and television…in North America at least. Brokeback Mountain is definitely a film that I should have watched by now and it at the top of my list.
I was in the same boat when it came to Me and Earl and The Dying Girl. I gave in last week and watched it. 😯 Now all I have to do is read the book! Here’s My TTT

Oh my god the Boy in the Striped pyjamas is heartbreaking. You need to morally and mentally prepare yourself for that one.

Oh man I’ve heard so much about how sad it is 😦 I don’t know when or if I’ll ever be able to prepare myself for it haha

Jake Gyllenhaal is such a great actor. Have you seen him in Nightcrawler? The Shining film is superb. I know what you mean about The Wolf of Wall Street. I find I have to watch 3 hour plus movies at the cinema or I take years to see them.
