Top 5 Wednesday – Graphic Novels/Comics (Image Comics)

It’s Wednesday! That means it’s time for a brand new Top 5 Wednesday, created by gingerreadslainey. If you want to know how T5W works you can go to the Goodreads group by clicking here. This weeks theme is Top 5 Graphic Novels I’ve Read. I feel like the topic of graphic novels is something that I cover quite often here on this blog. I never used to read them, like ever! I only recently got into the world of graphic novels earlier this year and I’m ashamed that I didn’t begin reading them sooner. I think I always just assumed that they were all Batman, Superman, Spiderman etc. Don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with the superhero genre, I’m a huge fan of everything superheroes when it comes to film and television, but I’m not really huge on reading about them, especially considering there are SO MANY and I have no idea where I would even begin. I never thought I would be interested in the world of comics and graphic novels, but then I discovered Image Comics. Image Comics is a publishing company that publishes out of the ordinary graphic novels with dark and weird themes which is something I really enjoy, however strange that may sound. That being said, I am going to be focusing on my Top 5 favourite graphic novels published by Image Comics! Here we go!
